One of my favorites on the list is not a librarian by training, but Tim Spalding is one of those bibliophile hackers who is doing very cool stuff with cataloging. And now some of it can be integrated into library catalogs, too.

I got to know Jessica when she and I were both in UIUC's library science program. She was finishing up her Certificate of Advanced Study while I was working on my master's degree. We worked together last year on the RUSA president's program. She's reader's advisory maven! I'm glad to see she's in Minnesota.
